Treat V K Singh As Friend Not Enemy: ANC

KL Report

SRINAGAR

Awami National Conference (ANC) senior vice president Muzaffar Shah Sunday said that the legislators of the state of Jammu and Kashmir should treat former Army Chief Gen V.K Singh as a friend and not as an enemy.

Talking to KNS, Shah said that retired army chief has raised some vital points visa-a-vis the politics of the state and that he is going to invite him to valley so that he could reveal the names of those involved in the much hyped Technical support division (TSD) funding from the army.

“What Gen Singh has said needs to be clarified particularly when he mentions that politicians since 1947 are receiving money from the army,” Shah said. He further added that my father and Grandfather have ruled Kashmir and they have been the important figures in the making of the Kashmir policy. “I will ask him that are they involved in all this”

Shah further stated that Mufti Mohammad Syed being the former Home Minister at Delhi should come forward and reveal the real facts. “Home Minister of India is a boss and he knows exactly what IB and RAW does” Shah further mentioned that he is going to invite Gen. Singh to Srinagar so that he could meet the cross section of the people here. According to me there are two people who should be questioned, one is Gen. Singh and another is Mufti Syed.

”In spite of knowing that I have a family who is in the politics of the state since long but still I want to through open the files so that the truth could come out.”

Shah said that he will request for an appointment with Gen Singh after October 22.” My Delhi office is going to get in touch with him from tomorrow so that the meeting could be fixed on the expected date.
