Srinagar: A middle-aged woman from Check Wussan village of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district who suffered injuries on Monday by a falling tree branch succumbed at SKIMS Soura today.
The deceased woman identified as Saja Banoo suffered head injury after a tree branch fell on her at Chek Wussan yesterday, resulting into a serious head injury.
Saja was soon rushed to Primary Health Centre Wussan where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment. However, she succumbed at SKIMS today.
Soon after the news of the Saja’s death spread, a pall of gloom descended on the village and people from Wussan and its adjoining areas are visiting her residence to offer condolences.
