A 22-year-old truck conductor was killed in a tragic road accident in Banihal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Wednesday night.
Reports said that during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday a truck conductor came under a tyre of a truck. The incident occurred when the said person was replacing the tyre of his vehicle. The incident led to the on-spot death of the helper identified as Fayaz Zaman, a resident of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The initial reports also suggest that incident occurred near Jaiswal Bridge when another speeding truck hit it from the rear.
In this regard, a case FIR No 63/2019 U/S 279/304-A RPC has been registered and investigation into the case has been set into motion.
