Speaking to reporters, as per Reuters, President Trump stated that all key regional players had already agreed to the terms of the peace plan. “All of the Arab countries are signed up. The Muslim countries are all signed up. Israel is all signed up,” he said. “We’re just waiting for Hamas, and Hamas is either going to be doing it or not, and if it’s not, it’s going to be a very sad end.”

The peace proposal, spearheaded by the US administration, is part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to bring an end to the long-standing hostilities between Israel and Hamas, the militant group governing the Gaza Strip.

While details of the plan have not yet been made public, the Trump administration claims it has secured backing from a coalition of Arab and Muslim nations, in addition to Israel’s agreement.

Hamas has yet to issue a formal response to the ultimatum. Analysts suggest the group may be weighing both internal political pressures and broader regional implications before making a decision.

The ultimatum marks a critical juncture in US-led Middle East diplomacy, with Trump pushing for a resolution to a conflict that has spanned decades and claimed thousands of lives.
