SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two absconders in Anantnag’s Aishmuqam area of south Kashmir who were evading their arrest since long.
An police spokesperson said that a police party of Police Station Aishmuqam arrested two absconders identified as Fareed Shah son of Akbar Shah resident of Reshbal Aishmuqam and Showkat Ahmed Shah son of Gh Ahmed resident of Latroo Aishmuqam who were involved in case FIR No’s 23/2010 under section 147, 348, 354 RPC and 74/2010 under section 454, 380 RPC of Police Station Aishmuqam, respectively.
“Both the absconders were later produced before the court of Law. A general warrant of arrest was issued by the court against them,” he said.
