Police on Friday evening apprehended two persons along with a pistol and grenade in Srinagar.
Official sources said that two persons were apprehended by police station Kothibagh at Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar, and recovered a pistol and grenade from their possession.
The official added that both the persons were taken to CARGO police station Srinagar for the questioning, and a case under relevant sections has been registered.
This really makes a news. There was a time in 1990 that even if a group of militants or for that matter a group of people was seen with AK 47’s by police or even army, no action was initiated.
