SRINAGAR: Two army men were injured in an ongoing gunfight at Chimmer area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
Quoting official sources news agency GNS reported that two army men received bullet wounds in an ongoing gunfight. Subsequently, both were removed to 92 Base hospital for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable.
Earlier during the firefight three militants were also killed, he added.
Reports said that a joint team of Police, army, and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Chimmer.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
