Two persons sustained injuries on Wednesday after a vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident in North Kashmir’s Uri town.

Reports said that a vehicle (Eco) lost its control and rolled down from the road in Nambla Uri, resulting in injuries to two persons identified as Sajad Ahmad Mir and Manan Ahmad Mir, both residents of Nambla Uri.

The injured persons were soon shifted to Sub-District Hospital Uri for the treatment.

In a separate accident, two army personnel and a porter were injured after their vehicle turned turtle in Nawarunda, Uri.

The identification of the injured persons was not known immediately, however, they were shifted to a nearby hospital for the treatment.
