SRINAGAR: BJP MLAs Rajiv Jasrotia and Pawan Gupta staged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, expressing dissatisfaction with the government’s responses during the proceedings.
Rajiv Jasrotia walked out after receiving what he called “unsatisfactory and evasive answers,” and Pawan Gupta of Udhampur joined him in protest, leaving the House in solidarity.
The walkout occurred amid ongoing protests inside and outside the Assembly, as legislators demanded clear action on issues affecting their constituencies. The Assembly’s agenda for the day is continuing.
