SRINAGAR: At least two Border Security Forces personnel were injured when Pakistan Rangers opened fire in the Arnia sector of Samba district, according to officials on Tuesday evening.

The officials said that Pakistan Rangers fired rounds towards BSF personnel from the 120 Battalion who were stationed along the border. “During the incident, two personnel identified as Surjit Vishwas and Alok sustained injuries,” they stated.

“The injured individuals were transported to GMC Jammu, and their current condition is yet to be determined,” they added. (GNS)
