SRINAGAR: Two policemen were on Tuesday evening injured in an attack in Wanpora village of Kakpora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Quoting an official news agency KNO reported that militants attacked a police party in Wanpora village of Kakapora belt in Pulwama district.

He said that militants attacked police party with a grenade followed by firing, resulting in injuries to two policemen.

The official said the injured policemen were shifted to a nearby hospital where the condition of one is said to be critical.

He further added that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
