Two CRPF men injured in Lethpora militant attack

Two CRPF men were critically injured after suspected militants on Saturday night attacked a CRPF camp in Lethpora district of Pulwama.

An official said that suspected militants attacked during the night hours and are still hiding inside the camp.

Militants stormed the group training centre of the camp of CRPF around 2: 00 am on Saturday night.

The official added that police and army are on the job, intermittent firing was on and two CRPF men have sustained injuries.

However, the injured men were rushed to the hospital.

“Gun fight at Lethpora #Awantipora. SFs on job. Further details will follow,” DIG of police SKR tweeted.
