SRINAGAR: Two persons were killed after a truck they were traveling in fell off a bridge in Kathua district on Wednesday, police said.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that the truck was on its way to Jammu from Pathankot in Punjab. “The incident took place at Bagiyal Morh near Barnoti of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. The deceased have been identified as Balwant Singh and Ranjeet Singh, both residents of Taran Taran district of Punjab.”
The bodies were shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua for post-mortem examination and were handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
