SRINAGAR: Two young men died on the spot after their motorcycle collided with a load carrier on the Bani–Basohli road near Sandhar village on Friday morning, officials said.
According to sources, the accident occurred near the Mohan Tea Stall when the bike, carrying two persons, rammed into a load carrier (camper) under mysterious circumstances. Both riders succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The deceased were identified as Shahbaz, son of Abass, and Rohit, son of Rashpal — both residents of Bhoond village in the Bani area.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (KNC)
