SRINAGAR: Two people were killed and six others were injured after a vehicle was involved in an accident in the Chasti Padder area of Kishtwar district on Wednesday.
Quoting officials, GNS reported that a Tata Sumo en route from Chasoti to Gulabarg Padder, met with an accident. “In this incident, two people were killed, and six others were injured. They were shifted to the Sub-District Hospital Atholi Padder for medical treatment.The deceased have been identified as Akshay Kumar, son of Bansi Lal, and Parveen Kumar, son of Bansi Lal, both residents of Chasoti.”
“The injured have been identified as Shri Kant, son of Roshan Lal, resident of Chasoti Padder; Akshay Kumar, son of Mast Ram, resident of Chasoti; Pawan Singh, son of Hari Krishan, resident of Chasoti; Kuldeep Singh, son of Daljeet Singh, resident of Chasoti; Jewan Singh, son of Manohar Lal, resident of Chasoti; and Vijay Kumar, son of Hushyar Singh, resident of Chasoti,” they said.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard, and an investigation has been initiated.
