Two persons died in a road accident when a Maruti van fell down to a deep Nallah on Gondho Guari road in Doda district of Chenab Valley.
Reports said that a Maruti Van bearing registration number JHKO6-7971 was on its way to Guari from Malikpora Gondho. When the Van reached near Gondho it rolled down about 400 feet from the road to a deep Nallah resulted in the killing of two persons on the spot.
Those who killed in the accident have been identified as Mohamad Arshad(24) son of Ghulam Qadir Rather Chilli Gondho and Irshad Ahmed son of Mohamad Mohit of Bihar.
Locals of the area blamed that the accident took place due to the bad condition of the road.
The villagers further alleged that several times authorities of Roads and Buildings (R&B) were informed about the miserable condition of Thathri Kaljugasar Guari road but authorities did not bother to maintain the road for vehicular traffic
Police and locals people of the area have started rescue operation to trace out the dead bodies from the nallah for which operation is still on.
