Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
“During naka checking at Nihalpora road near Cheksari crossing, a police party intercepted a Load Carrier bearing registration number JK05F 7615. During the search of vehicle two bags loaded with fukki weighing approximately 38 kilograms were recovered from the said vehicle,” said a police spokesman.
“Two drug peddlers aboard the vehicle were taken into custody,” he said.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation in the matter is in progress,” the police spokesman said.
