Two Drug Peddlers held in Bandipora

Bandipora police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 27 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from their possession on Wednesday, reads police statement.

As per statement, a police party from Police Station Sumbal headed by SHO Sumbal laid a naka at Naid Khai. During naka checking two persons were intercepted and on search 27 bottles of Codeine Phosphate and 400 grams of Charas was recovered from their possession.

The duo were identified as Ghulam Hassan Teli son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din resident of Bazar Mohallah Naid Khai and Reyaz Ahmad Baba son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din resident of Asthan Mohalla, Naidkhai. Both the persons have been arrested and a case was registered against them.
