SRINAGAR: The Army along with Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday apprehended two suspected individuals along with arms and ammunition in the Gushi area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
In a post on X, Chinar Corps, said that the suspected individuals were apprehended during a naka checking by police and army.
“In a Joint Operation launched by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice on specific intelligence, a Mobile Vehicle Interception Post (MVIP) was established today at Gushi Bridge at Kupwara where Two suspected individuals were apprehended. 04xHand Grenades, 01xPistol with ammunition along with other incriminating material were recovered. Investigation in progress,” it wrote on X.
