Two Injured in Leopard Attack in North Kashmir

   

SRINAGAR: At least two people, including a woman, were injured in a leopard attack in the Kralpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.

Officials said the leopard attacked the individuals while they were working on their agricultural land at Aloosa, Kralpora, leaving both injured.

They were immediately taken by locals to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kralpora for treatment.

The injured have been identified as Mohd Abdullah Wani (75), son of Khazir Mohd Wani, and Hafeeza Begum, wife of Nazir Ahmad Sheikh. Both are residents of Aloosa. (GNS)
