At least two persons were injuries on Saturday late night after a car they were travelling in met with an accident in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that the driver of the Maruti vehicle lost his control at New colony area near Axis Bank Sopore and crashed it into a road divider, resulting in injuries to two persons.

The injured duo were identified as Abdul Ghani Shah (55), son of Ghulam Muhammad of Shallapora Sopore and other Zahoor Ahmad alla 25, son of Muhammad Maqbool of Sher colony Sopore.

They said both the injured were taken to SDH Sopore where from where from they were referred to Srinagar for the specialised treatment.

Police have registered a case in this regard.
