Two people were killed and four others received a serious injury in a road accident at Phagsoo area in Thathri area of Doda on Tuesday.
A vehicle bearing registration number JK06-7732 skidded off the road and rolled down a gorge in the Khanpora area of Doda today killing two people, including a woman, and injuring four others a vehicle was on its own way from Phagsoo to Thathri.
All injured person was shifted to Public Health Center Thathri for treatment where two of them scummed to injuries. Later, four injured were shifted to District Hospital Doda for special treatment.
The deceased persons were identified as Nisar Ahmed S/o Barkat Ali and Fatima Begun both are the residents of Khanpur, Phagsoo and Injured were identified as Noor Din, Shamim Ahmed, Khalid Hussain and Misra Begum.
However, Police registered a case under FIR No 23/2018 U/S 279/337/304-RPC at Police Station Thatri and investigation is going on.
