SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Kanjiular area in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday.
An official said that two LeT militants were killed in the encounter at Kanjiular village of Shopian.
The identity of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Kanjiular area of Shopian.
