Two local labourers were found dead in their rented room at Dalipora area of district Pulwama on Saturday morning.
A medico at District Hospital Pulwama said that both the labourers died due to inhaling gas during the night.
All the persons were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared two of them as dead, said the report.
The deceased have been identified as Nisar Ahmad Kalas and Mohammad Ashraf Kalas both are from Draklaran, Rajpora area of the district Two labourers died, reportedly due to suffocation from a coal gas heater, in Dalipora area of Pulwama.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir government has announced financial help to the two labourers.
The financial help to the duo was announced by Jammu and Kashmir’s Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu.
“2 laborers Nisar & Ashraf Kalas of Abhama died due to suffocation. ALC instructed to extend all help. Board will give financial relief,” Drabu wrote on Twitter.
