During the inspection, authorities suspended the licence and operations of Sabreen Medical Agencies after serious irregularities were detected in the sale and handling of medicines during verification.

In a similar action, Asraria Pharmacy was also placed under suspension after officials found discrepancies between the available stock of medicines and the records maintained by the establishment.

Officials said the action is part of an ongoing crackdown aimed at curbing the misuse of controlled drugs, the unauthorised sale of medicines, and violations that could fuel substance abuse and illegal narcotics networks in the region.

The drive is expected to continue in other areas to ensure strict enforcement of drug control norms and safeguard public health.
