Two militants and one army man were killed while as two soldiers sustained bullet wounds in an ongoing encounter at Waghoma area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.
Reports said that two militants have been killed so far in the ongoing operation and searches are underway.
In the initial firing, one army man was injured, he was immediately shifted to 92 Base hospital for treatment where he succumbed, reports suggest.
Later two army personnel sustained injuries and they were subsequently shifted to an army hospital for the treatment.
