SRINAGAR: Security forces on Saturday neutralised two militants after foiling an infiltration attempt in the Keran sector of Kupwara district, officials said.
The encounter erupted when troops intercepted suspicious movement along the Line of Control. Following a brief exchange of fire, two militants were eliminated.
In a post on X, the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army confirmed the operation, stating: “OP PIMPLE, Keran, Kupwara.
