SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Shitipora Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

The identity of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Shitipora Bijbehara area of Anantnag district.
