SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Tangpawa village in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.
An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Tangpawa village in Anantnag.

The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Tangpawa village of Anantnag on Sunday.
