SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Watnira area in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday.
An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Watnira area of Bandipora.
The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Watnira area of Bandipora.
