SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Hasanpora area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday late night.
An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Hasanpora area of Kulgam.
The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Hasanpora area of Kulgam.
