SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Qasbayar area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday, police said.

An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Qasbayar area of Pulwama.
The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Qasbayar area of Pulwama.
