SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Badigam village of Nagbal area in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Nagbal village in Shopian.

The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Nagbal village in Shopian.
