SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Badigam village of Zainapora area in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.
An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Badigam village in Zainapora area of Shopian.

The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Badigam village in Zainapora t pl area of Shopian.
