SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Kwarigam Ranipora in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Kwarigam Ranipora area of Anantnag.
The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Kwarigam Ranipora area in Anantnag.
