SRINAGAR: Srinagar Police on Friday traced and reunited two minor children with their families after they were reported missing for four days from Jamaat-ul-Uloom BK Pora in Nowgam, Srinagar.
According to a police spokesperson, a case was registered at Nowgam police station based on a written complaint, and an investigation was promptly initiated.
The statement noted that using technical data and human intelligence, the police tracked the missing children to Vilgam, Handwara.
“With the cooperation of Handwara police, the missing children were located and safely recovered from a remote area in Vilgam in less than four hours. They have since been reunited with their families. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing,” the statement read.
