SRINAGAR: Two more militants were killed in an encounter with the counter-insurgent forces in Badigam village in Zainapora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district taking the death toll of militants to four, police said.
An official said that two more militants were killed in the gunfight in Badigam area of Shopian district.
He added that the identity and group affiliation of slain militants were being ascertained.
The search operation is on in the area and further details are awaited.
Earlier, police had said that two militants were killed in the encounter at Badigam village in Zainapora area of Shopian.
