SRINAGAR: Two more militants were killed in an encounter with the counter-insurgent forces in Jan Mohalla area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district taking the death toll of militants to five, police said.
An official said that two more militants were killed in the gunfight in Jan Mohalla area of Shopian district.

He added that the identity and group affiliation of slain militants were being ascertained.
The search operation is on in the area and further details are awaited.
Earlier, police had said that three militants were killed in the encounter at Jan Mohalla on Thursday.
