SRINAGAR: Two more militants were killed in an encounter with the counter-insurgent forces in Batamaloo area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district taking the death toll of militants to three, police said.
An official said that two more militants were killed in the gunfight in Batamaloo area of Srinagar district.
He added that the identity and group affiliation of slain militants were being ascertained.
The search operation is on in the area and further details are awaited.
Earlier, officials said that a militants and a woman were killed in the encounter.
