SRINAGAR: Two more militants were killed in an encounter with the counter-insurgent forces on Wednesday in Lawaypora area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district taking the death toll of militants to three, police said.
An official said that two more militants were killed in the gunfight in Lawaypora area of Srinagar district.
He added that the identity and group affiliation of slain militants were being ascertained.

The search operation is on in the area and further details are awaited.
Earlier, officials said that one militant was killed in the encounter.
