SRINAGAR: Two persons died when a car they were traveling in met with an accident and plunged into a deep gorge in Doda, reports reaching here said.
Police said the one Alto 800 car (JK06A-6864) was on its way from Thathri towards Cherra and at Nandna, Thathri, it slipped into a gorge. The vehicle slipped deep into almost 80 feet.
The incident took place at 10:15 am.
Both the deaths took place on the spot. They were identified as Ajay Kumar son of Mahender Singh of Chirna and Ranjeet Singh son of Som Lal of Jagote Phagso.
