SRINAGAR: Security forces arrested two suspected overground workers of militants and seized arms, ammunition and explosives during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Thursday.
The operation was carried out jointly by police and the Army in the Delina area on Wednesday, leading to the arrest of Waseem Ahmad Beigh and Tahir Ahmad Malik, officials said.
The recoveries included two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), a pistol, 10 pistol rounds and Rs 6,500 in cash, they added.
