The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satya Pal Malik on Friday granted two more years to Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Siddiqi for the service of Vice-Chancellor. Siddiqi is currently posted at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora, in south Kashmir.
The three years term for Siddiqi completed today, however, Governor of J&K state, who is also Chancellor of the varsity, has granted the extension of two more years’ in favour of Siddiqui.
