Two year old Areesha Rani was playing with her neighbourhood children when she suddenly went missing near home.
A resident of Seer Hamdan from South Kashmir’s Pahalgam area, Areesha Rani is feared to have fallen in a Nallah which flows through her home. It is a tributary of Lidder river.
A cousin of Areesha Rani told Kashmir Life over phone that J&K Police and members of NDRF are on job searching the Nallah. “The water flow has been diverted and the cops are searching Areesha as she is feared to have drowned in to the Nallah,” he said.
