Two youth were injured after government forces on Saturday fired tear gas at the mourners heading home after burying a woman in Sherabad village of Tral area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that the mourners were returning home after the burial of a lady who had passed away earlier today when forces fired tear gas smoke shells and pellets at them resulting in pellet injuries to mourners.

The injured mourners were identified as Amir Gulzar Ganai 23, and Khursheed Ahmad son of Mohammad Sultan.

The injured mourners were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
