Unknown men on Tuesday late evening attacked an independent Candidate for Municipal polls in Hawal area of Srinagar.
Official sources said that unknown men hurled a petrol bomb towards the residential house of an independent candidate of ward 55/Hawal, namely Mudabir Ahmad of Adalat Masjid, a resident of Hawal Srinagar. However, there were no immediate reports of any loss.
Meanwhile, the unknown persons in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal threw stones at the house of Khursheed Ahmad Lone, the candidate of ward number 3 in Giraj Ganderbal. The incident resulting in the damage to the house, however, there were no reports of any loss and the family members are also said to be safe.
