SRINAGAR: The UN Secretary General António Guterres has expressed his sorrow over the tragic loss of lives due to recent flash floods and cloudbursts in India and Pakistan, according to multiple media reports.
A statement issued by the Spokesman for the Secretary-General yesterday said, the UN Country Teams are at the disposal of the Governments to provide necessary assistance.
The Secretary-General offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and expressed solidarity with all those affected by the disaster.
