Three policemen including an Assistant Sub Inspector were suspended after an undertrial escaped from police custody in Rajouri district of Jammu division.
Reports said that an under trial Muhammad Riaz, son of Muhammad Shafi resident of Muradpur Rajouri was involved in a case FIR 102/2016 of Nowshera Police Station and was being taken to District Jail at Dhangri after session court hearing.
The said under trial escaped giving a slip to police party and a major manhunt has been launched to trace him up.
Police had registered a case under FIR 522/2017 u/s 223/224 RPC in Rajouri police station against police party consisting of ASI Din Mohd, SGCT Ghulam Mustafa and HC Mohd Safoor & under trial accused Muhammad Riaz.
