Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered an unidentified male body in a forest area in Gund tehsil of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
“The body of a man was spotted by the locals at Kitholen Rayil in Sindh range forest in Kangan area following which a police party from Gund police station rushed to the spot and recovered the body, ” a police official said.
He said the police is ascertaining the identity of the body.
Police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
