SRINAGAR: An unidentified male body was recovered from the Darhali river in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Thursday.
According to reports, the deceased is believed to be between 30 and 35 years of age. His identity has not yet been established.
The body was retrieved from the river and shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) Associated Hospital, Rajouri, for post-mortem examination and other medico-legal formalities.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the death.
